*NANS Announces NASCAF 2026:*  Nigeria’s Biggest Student Art and Culture FestivalLagos — The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), in collaboration with Abuletic Brand, has announced plans to host the National Student Culture and Art Festival (NASCAF) 2026, billed as the largest student-driven cultural festival in Nigeria’s history. 




The event, themed *“Where Culture Meets Art in the Rhythm of Afro Fusion,”* aims to celebrate Nigeria’s diverse cultural heritage and showcase the creative talents of students from all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. 


According to Comr Abiola  Peters NANS National Director of Art & Culture, NASCAF 2026 promises to be more than a festival — it is a platform for young Nigerians to celebrate their roots and innovate boldly for the future. “Art and culture are the lifeblood of any nation,” he said. “They tell the stories of our people, preserve our traditions, and fuel our creativity. Through NASCAF, we are creating a space for students to not only showcase their talents but to engage deeply with the diverse cultural identities that make Nigeria unique. This festival will inspire a new generation to value our heritage while pushing artistic boundaries.”The festival will feature a broad range of activities, including art exhibitions spanning paintings, sculptures, photography, textiles, and digital arts. Performances will include traditional dances, spoken word poetry, theatre, and Afro-fusion music—a genre that blends African rhythms with contemporary global styles.
