High Chief Olakunle Olakunle Hosts Remo North Yayi Women for Better Change at Orile Oko Political Office
Orile Oko, Remo North — On Wednesday, 1st April 2026, High Chief Olakunle Olakunle warmly hosted the Remo North Yayi Women for Better Change group at his political office in Orile Oko, in a significant gathering aimed at fostering community development and political empowerment. The women’s delegation, led by the convener, Mrs. Motunrayo Olawore, a former Acting Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Remo North Local Government, included representatives from various communities such as Isara, Ipara, Ilara, Akaka, Ode, and Orile Oko.
The meeting brought together community chiefs, Baales, political leaders, and youth organizations to deliberate on strategies for the betterment of Remo North and the empowerment of women. Furthermore, High Chief Olakunle Olakunle officially endorsed Senator Olamilekan Yayi’s candidacy for the governorship of Ogun State. The event also served as an opportunity to welcome in advance the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is expected to commission the Gateway Agro Cargo Airport at Iperu Remo, Ogun State, on Saturday, 4th April 2026.
